“I have good news for you, as well as some bad news for you,” Dr. X told my husband. “And I think I should start with the bad news… You have Alzheimer’s Disease.”

 “So what good news could you possibly have for me after that?” my husband asked.

 “Well, in less than an hour or so, you will probably have forgotten this conversation completely”

 And that was our introduction to Alzheimer’s … a long journey indeed.
