Is this sophistication or simplification?




When NASA first started sending up astronauts into space, they soon discovered that ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity.So, In order to combat the problem, NASA scientists spent a decade as well as 1.2 billion dollars to develop a pen that can write in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface including glass, and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to 300 Celsius.

When confronted with the same problem, an Israeli scientist used a pencil.
