The 4th anniversary

Today it’s 4 years since my late husband passed away and this is my way of honoring his memory. (My first effort to post this blog flew off with a glaring error – forgive me – here is the correct version.)

I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.

I thought about you yesterday, for days before that too.

I think of you in silence, I sometimes speak your name.

Now all I have are memories and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is my keepsake from which I’ll never part.

I think of you so often, I have you in my heart.

Every anniversary, my husband presented me with a bunch of tulips.
